HAPP BOWDAY!

So I got this email today, about the dandy and bowties...this freaked me out a little considering my latest posts were on Bow ties and "the dandy"...freakishly coincidental, or perhaps serendipity (mmmm fantastic 90's movie...gag) anyway All Of Our Lives have their new winter 09 attire out! inspired by all things imaginative and colourful, from Crayons to Jack In The Boxes, from LEGO to Lewis Carroll fairy tales so I think its only fair I share this lovely treat with you all (that is if anyone reads this!).

Dandy

So all night i've been working on my essay on "The Importance of Being Earnest" and what better way to procrastinate then to delve into Oscar Wilde's invention of "The Dandy"

A dandy is a man who places particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and the cultivation of leisurely hobbies.

Now after looking at this picture of The Dandy, I realized that was some pretty damn fine dressing. And so I present to you the modern day Dandy:

I'll admit it, this place is a hangover from the real world. With the constant smell of herbal remedies its really only enjoyable for so long, BUT it seemed an appropriate thing to do to take photos as we journeyed back into the real world with slight hangovers.

Its really quite annoying having such a hideous friend...

no no no silly, not that type of bow tie. Im talking about the one that looks gloriously brilliant when worn with an accompanying shirt.

Such as these ones made by “All of our lives”an independant Sydney designer, who makes all these cool bowties! ooh la la. But if you are thinking, sure a bow tie sounds great in theory well here is some proof of the little ol' bow tie making an appearance in the real world on a real girl, looking realll fine


mmm im going off to make an alarming amount of bow ties now...anyone wanting one?! I hear on this certain blog they are quite in style!

Blogger!

So I have made the conscience decision to really enter the land of no return "blog blog land". After spending about 200 minutes last night, just reading through every Norwegian blog in the blogosphere I decided I wanted to be a part of that world. So this is the begining of the end. Wish me luck and I hope I can tantalize your eyes as you read! maybe an introduction?

Ok so today I realized I am slightly in love with my school uniform. It was the first time I had put it on in two weeks, and with a little tweek of the dress and socks and jumper, I have decided its almost adorable. I wish it looked more like this though:Oh yeah, and like a major girl I love the show Gossip Girl (this comes as a suprise as usually I only watch channel 617 CRIME INVESTIGATION!)
