Perfume

This month, my bookclub is reading Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer By German writer Patrick Suskind. This got me thinking about Perfume and how much a scent matters! Perfume is like a love potion, and so I can only hope my current love potion (Vera Wang) attracts as many perfect young gentleman as possible! (or maybe just one amazing young man!) Coco Chanel was very addiment about the importance of perfume and was said to say "A women who doesn't wear perfume has no future" and my favourite quote said by the devine Miss Marilyn Monroe admitting that she went to bed in chanel only. “What do I wear in bed? Why, Chanel No. 5, of course.”
“The wind rises electric. She’s soft and warm almost weightless. Her perfume is sweet promise that brings tears to my eyes. I tell her that everything will be alright. That I’ll save her from whatever she’s scared of and take her far far away.”
